Bayern Munich Forward Ruled Out of Friendly Matches

20-year-old Suffers Injury in Victory Against Galatasaray

FRANKFURT, Germany (AP) - Germany forward Jamal Musiala has been ruled out of upcoming friendly games against Peru and Belgium due to an injury sustained in Bayern Munich's 2-1 victory over Galatasaray Istanbul on Wednesday evening.

Musiala was forced off the field with an injury in the second half of Wednesday's match. Bayern Munich coach Julian Nagelsmann confirmed after the game that Musiala had suffered a muscle injury and would miss the upcoming friendly matches for Germany.

The injury is a blow to both Bayern Munich and the German national team, as Musiala has been in impressive form this season. The 20-year-old has scored seven goals and provided seven assists in 19 appearances for Bayern Munich in all competitions.

Musiala was expected to play a key role in Germany's friendlies against Peru and Belgium, but his injury will now force him to miss both matches. The German national team will announce a replacement for Musiala in due course.

The news of Musiala's injury will be a concern for Germany coach Hansi Flick, who is already without several key players through injury. The German national team will be hoping that Musiala is able to recover from his injury in time for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
