Michael Cline, the co-founder of Fandango, an online ticketing company that changed how Americans went to the movies, died Tuesday in an apparent suicide. Cline fell from the 20th floor of The Marmara Park Avenue hotel in New York City.

Cline, 64, was a serial entrepreneur and father of six. He founded Fandango in 1995, and the company quickly became one of the leading online ticket sellers in the United States. Cline sold Fandango to Comcast in 2007 for $265 million.

After leaving Fandango, Cline founded several other startups, including the mobile ticketing company PassWallet and the on-demand parking app CurbStand. He was also an investor in several other tech companies.

Cline's death is a tragic reminder of the mental health challenges that many people face. If you or someone you know is struggling with mental health issues, please reach out for help. The National Suicide Prevention Lifeline can be reached at 1-800-273-8255.
